This year, the welcome event was an extension of World Peace Day that was celebrated at school the week before. Parents and teachers brought along a national dish to share, whilst others also came dressed in the colour of their flag or wore national dress. A Sudanese band and dancers performed and showcased dances from various parts of Sudan. During their breaks, we played music from around the world representing the nationalities at KICS.

Football, tug of war, egg & spoon race and the soft play cushions kept the kids entertained whilst the grown-ups mingled. The turnout was great and everyone had a great time!
