A very warm welcome to Khartoum International Community School. Our mission is to offer an outstanding international education to the local and global community which empowers students, from ages 3 to 18 years old, to act creatively, positively and responsibly in our changing world.
We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and we are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, the first one in Sudan. Our curriculum begins with the IB Primary Years Programme and ends with the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13. We are transitioning away from IMYC and IGCSE to the IB Middle Years Programme for years 7-11. This better aligns our PYP and DP and will make us an IB Continuum School. Our extra-curricular, outdoor and service programs are rich and varied, ensuring our students have the opportunity to develop into balanced, resilient and caring young people.
The learning environment and facilities, from classrooms to cafeteria, pool to playing fields, and science labs to libraries provide optimal conditions for students to grow and learn. KICS Faculty are diverse international educators and skilled, caring and experienced practitioners who aim to inspire lifelong learning for all our students. Please visit us yourself and see what KICS is all about.
