How to Apply

How do I apply for a place at KICS?

KICS welcomes applications throughout the academic year (August-May) and during the summer break (June-July).

However, please note that the applications are processed only during the academic year, provided that a vacancy is available in the prospective year group. If a vacancy is not available, then the application will be moved to the KICS Waiting List and the family will be notified once a vacancy becomes available.

Step 1: Gathering Information about the School

  • Check the school's website for information about KICS regarding the Primary and Secondary Sections, IB Diploma Programme, ECAs…. etc.

  • Contact the KICS School Registrar, via email at admissions@kicsnet.org to request the KICS Information Pack. Also, if you are in Khartoum, you can set an appointment with the School Registrar to visit KICS and have a campus tour.

  • If possible, speak to other parents of children already enrolled at KICS.

Step 2: Application / Registration Process

Once you have gathered all the information you need and are ready to apply to KICS, please click on the following linkKICS Online Application Form. You will also be asked to email/submit other application requirements/documents to support your child’s application.

Upon receipt of your child’s complete application file, the School Registrar will contact you to reconfirm class placement, and availability of a vacancy in the prospective year group and to give you further information on how your child’s application will be processed.

Step 3: Admissions Assessments

As per the School’s Admissions Policy, all applicants must be assessed before a place is offered at KICS.

The KICS admissions assessments are comprised of the following:

  1. An assessment of previous academic history (school reports, transcripts, reference letters, and/or other documentation).
  2. An assessment of readiness to join KICS via written and verbal admissions assessments/exams which take place at KICS.
